Modul 806-ED1

The UMG 806 energy measurement device offers the right solution for different requirements. The high-performance basic device is ideally suited for cost-oriented applications and offers Modbus RTU. It offers, among other things, the possibility to measure and record residual currents. Continuous residual current monitoring enables early detection of dangerous fault currents, thus avoiding system damage and production downtime. The UMG 806 can be extended with three modules: an Ethernet communication module, an analog input module and a digital input module.

Qualified observations regarding power consumption and power quality can only be obtained by measuring looking beyond the power point. Finding sources of interference or energy waste requires capturing data at many points in the network. The granularity (resolution) of the measurement is critical. The Janitza UMG 806 is ideal for this task. This energy measurement device is versatile for a wide range of applications and supports modular expansion as required. It is suitable for measuring and monitoring electrical characteristics and power consumption data, as well as residual currents and power quality parameters such as harmonic current.
