Calculation nominal power of active harmonic filter
The AHFI calculation program allows a simple design of the active harmonic filter nominal power in Ampere. For this calculation just the various harmonic currents effective values have to be entered. As basis the measurement results of the UMG power analyzers can be used.
The AHFI-tool calculates based on the entered harmonic currents the required active harmonic filter nominal current as well as the filter peak current requirement.
Depending on the resulting current one of the following AHFI-filters can be selected:
- AHF030 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 30A / Filter maximum current < = 75 A
- AHF050 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 50A / Filter maximum current < = 125 A
- AHF100 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 100A / Filter maximum current < = 250 A
- AHF200 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 200A / Filter maximum current < = 500 A
- AHF250 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 250A / Filter maximum current < = 625 A
- AHF300 is equivalent to a nominal current < = 300A / Filter maximum current < = 750 A
System requirement: Excel 2000 or higher
